Policy and Procedures committee

The Policy and Procedure Committee ensure that policies and procedures are up to date, relevant, and fit for purpose.  There is member representation from a number of different organisations and together they work to ensure that staff understand what to do when they are concerned about a safeguarding issues, and who to tell.

The committee also carries out specific work when requested, such as writing extra guidance and procedures for certain circumstances.

The committee has representatives from

• Buckinghamshire Primary Care Trust
• Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Mental Health Trust
• Private, voluntary and independent sector
• Ridgeway Partnership
• Thames Valley Police
